CES was the first we heard of T Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G, and Mobile World Congress was the first time we got our hands on T Mobile’s latest 4GAndroid smartphone.
At last years 4G World Conference and Expo, the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic Touch 4G was designated the Best New Mobile Device in the entire 4G mobile marketplace.
Today, T Mobile is sharing the price and release date for its latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread phone.
March 21 is the date for buying the phone in stores, and the phone will cost $149.99 after a $50 mail in rebate and with your John Hancock on a two year contract.
The phone with the mouthful of a name features a 4 inch Super AMOLED screen (with a 480×800 pixel WVGA resolution), a 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm processor, a 5 megapixel camera that can shoot 720p HD video, and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.
That rear device comes equipped with an LED flash, video light, autofocus and smile detection features, and can provide video capture at 1080P HD resolution.
You can find out more pros and cons in our hands on review of the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G.
That retail price drop applies to both the white and black models, and makes the handset the least expensive Samsung Galaxy S II offering in the US.
